The last month I have been crazy busy with orders, gifts and planning my little one's third birthday party. Here's a sampling of what been done...

One of my very best friend's daughter turned one so I made her this taggie blanket.

Usually, when I make something new I first make one for my own child(ren) so that I can perfect my technique...

did not (but should have) done that here! Came out a little rough but now I know for the next one (get going Shelbie!)

And I love the little gift box for it.

These may be one of my new favorite things to make.

I also made her this first birthday shirt for her.

 I must say... she looked super cute sporting it at the party!

My little one's 3rd birthday is right around the corner

(ack! Only two weeks away!)

& he chose a dinosaur theme.

Kind of special as this is the first year he has chosen his birthday theme.

My little boy is growing up!

So I found this idea on Pintrest (OBSESSED),

and I LOVE how it turned out!

Finally, a little leaf garland I had seen online a while ago and been wanted to make for my very bare kitchen window. I adore it.

Moustache and Ties Little Man Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago I had a baby shower for my bff. This is her second baby and second boy. When she had her first, she knew it was a boy but Dad didn't so everything was very gender neutral. Since they both knew this time and it's the second, I wanted to throw her a shower that was less baby and all boy.

Through all the hustle and bustle I did not take one single photo (something I am ashamed to say I've been doing a lot lately), but luckily my friend Shelbie was there and took some!

The photos of mom-to-be (again) you see on the tables were also taken by Shelbie. For Karlie's birthday, I asked Shelbie to take some maternity and family photos. Karlie hadn't seen them until the shower.

The colors were various shades of blue and light/lime green.

The "theme" of the shower (aside from the moustaches and ties) was Mocktail Hour.

As much as I wish I could, I cannot take credit for this cake.

Karlie's friend Kelly is an incredible cake maker and she made this for the shower.

Thank you Kelly!!

I also cannot take credit for the fruit bowls.

Karlie's fiance Chris made these and as she put it,

"overachiever".

Jungle Tie Baby Blanket & Burp Rags

Thanks to my sweet momma & her friend Lisa for being my first paying customers! They ordered this jungle tie baby blanket and set of burp rags for a fellow co-worker's baby shower.

This blanket is "baby" size. Adult blankets are approximately 1.5 feet longer.

I also threw this bib in the package. It was the first one I'd ever made so it was a tester / thanks for being my first order gift.
